How do I get started?

What is Libib?
Libib is our library management system. It allows library users to search for materials through our online catalog. It also includes a simple self-checkout feature that can be used on any smartphone.
What is my username?
Your username is the email address you provided when registering for a library account.
What is my password?
Your password was automatically set to a default upon sign up. (This default password was provided to you by the library committee.) The first time you log in, please change this right away for security purposes.
How do I check out items using my smartphone or mobile device?
Log in to your Libib account.
Search for an item by typing the title or author into the search field, and select an item from the list.
Select “Checkout” at the top of the screen. This will add the item to your basket.
Continue adding items to your basket, or select “Complete” to finish checking out.
What if I don’t have a smartphone or mobile device?
If you don’t have a mobile device, see one of the librarians, who will be happy to check out your items.
Can I renew items?
As a courtesy, Libib will allow users to renew an item one time, as long as there are no holds placed on the item by other users.
May my child still check out books independently?
Yes! As long as we have received your permission, your child may check out books under your account. (Please note: we do request that any children under 10 be accompanied by a parent while using the library.)
