Relenting God, Relentless Love
A revealed word. A reluctant prophet. The belly of a whale. A great city Nineveh. This is what is most remembered and even taught about the book Jonah. Even those who don't go to church know the story. But is that all there is to Jonah? Is it simply a message of "obey God or end up in the belly of a great sea creature?'
Not even close. In fact, the story of Jonah isn't even primarily about Jonah. It is about God: the One, True, Living God. Through Jonah we see the character of God fully displayed: a relenting God filled with relentless love. He is the Creator who seeks all people to know Him, love Him and follow Him in trust, obedience and repentance.
Join us as we study our way through this wonderful book and be transformed as we encounter this relenting God and experience His relentless love.
