Broken Restored
Brokenness. It is everywhere. One glance at the headlines on a news page is all you need to come to this conclusion. Around the world refugees are fleeing their homes to save their lives. In our own country we are plagued with murder, abuse, bullying, drug abuse, and human trafficking.
What do we do in light of this brokenness? What is our response to be? Ignore it? Distract ourselves from it? These are viable options but ultimately they do nothing about the situation. As we approach Lent, we suggest that we enter the brokenness and embrace the brokenness by seeking God while carrying the brokenness.
Only then can we rightfully engage the brokenness in a meaningful way with hope and not despair. So join us as we dive into the book of Lamentations and see for yourself what happens when we go to God with our brokenness and then into the book of John as we experience the healing power of a resurrected Savior and the hope He alone offers.
