Puerto Rico Relief Fund

Many of us have seen the destruction to Puerto Rico as a result of Hurricane Maria.

PuertoRico Relief

Massive and overwhelming, many of us are left to wonder what they can do. We want to do something but not sure what or where to start. Scripture gives us guidance: "pray at all times." And so we encourage and invite you to pray. Pray for those who are without power, those in need of supplies, those who are providing relief, those who have suffered loss.

And yet, just as the bible also says that "faith without works is dead," many of us want to know what else we can do to help.  So what can we do?

That's the question we asked ourselves and in response decided to create a Puerto Rico Relief Fund at Finland. This fund is in partnership with the Mennonite Conference in Puerto Rico consisting of 13 churches. The Mennonite Conference in Puerto Rico will receive 100% of the proceeds and they will oversee the distribution of this money for rebuilding and offering relief.

Maybe you are also wondering what you could do to help. If you feel led, we invite you to donate to the Puerto Rico Relief Fund. Checks can be made out to "Finland Mennonite Church" and in the memo line write: "Puerto Rico Relief Fund." Those checks can be mailed to our church at 1750 Ziegler Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 and all donations are tax-deductible.

Thank you for your partnership in prayer and financial assistance to provide relief and recovery to the people of Puerto Rico
